Comment:
Echinococcus granulosus adult worm as found in the definitive host intestine (canines). These worms are 3 - 8 mm long and the rostellum has 30 - 36 hooks in 2 rows while the scolex has 4 suckers. There are usually only 3 proglottids - 1 immature, 1 mature and 1 gravid. The eggs are morphologically identical to the eggs of all Taenia spp.
